However , it is not the case that some people are born with self confidence and others are born with no self confidence. It is most likely that self confidence is something that we lose because of the way we opt to interpret what happens to us during our lives.</p>
<p>The UK government&#8217;s advisor on poverty, Frank Field, recently demonstrated that youngsters from middle class families are probably going to have heard 440,000 more positive comments from their parents by the age of three than children from working class families. Another study in the States discovered that the amount of talk between a parent and a kid forecasts a child&#8217;s future feats.</p>
<p>From these two studies we can decide that we learn self confidence from our early environment. Conversely children who are brought up in a family that is negative tend not to develop the same levels of self confidence.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>For several years I suffered with a dearth of self confidence. Feelings of &#8220;not being worthy&#8221;, &#8220;not belonging&#8221; and a poor self image held me back in my career and in my relationships.</p>
<p>These emotions were really hard to manage because I had no clue that I was a victim of any actual disability. It simply never occurred to me that there was anything particular wrong. I was simply living the way in Which I had got used to being. I didn&#8217;t think I had not always suffered from a lack of self confidence. All I knew was that in certain situations I felt uncomfortable and not fully able to cope.</p>
<p>It took me years to discover what the issue was. But when I did find out I learned how to to overcome my problems with self-confidence. Now I train others in the methodologies that I used to become a self confident person. I teach in the USA, the UK, the Gulf and now I&#8217;ll be running <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://davidferrers.com/nlp-training/new-self-confidence-training-in-india/">Self Confidence Training in India</a> this summer.</p>
<p>The most vital lesson from my personal experience of battling with self-confidence issues is that none of us has to suffer the pain of self confidence issues. There are ways that you can become confident. I am personally the living proof that any person can become self confident. I spend much of my life looking for better ways to train others to conquer issues of low self confidence and poor self image.</p>
<p>In my experience NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) is one of the most efficient sets of tools for enabling folks to become even more confident. I make it a point to use plenty of NLP in my 2-day workshops and it has a highly beneficial effect on the delegates being trained.</p>
<p>One of the reasons why it took me so long to triumph over my own self confidence issues was because I simply wasn&#8217;t prepared to pay the price for the cure. My studies of ways to cure myself were sporadic. I did not read enough and I did not attend the right workshops. You won&#8217;t rid yourself of self confidence problems, you must have help &#8211; that was the biggest lesson that I learned. Once I got help the cure came swiftly.</p>
